December 5, 1908 - July 28, 2007

Gracia B. Livingston, 98, of Orlando, FL and Little Falls, NY, died July 28, 2007, just over a month after launching her last charity, the National Sweet Teen Pageant. She had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and (for seventeen years) the Crown Sponsor of the Miss Orlando Scholarship Pageant, to which she provided educational scholarships to many young women. One such childhood pageant contestant was a young lady who would grow up to become the first African-American 'Miss Florida' and 'Miss America 2004' ~ Ericka Dunlap.

A graveside service in Little Falls was officiated by her longtime friend, Christine David of Orlando, along with National Sweet Teen National Executive Director Jack Carr, Executive Director of Miss Mohawk Valley (and six-time Miss New York local titleholder) Laurie Jean Britton, Sweet Teen New York Courtney Sheridan and her family, and New York's Outstanding Teen 2007 Allison Carlos and her mother.
